Time and procedure of subscribing to the National Health Insurance Status of sojourn-Studying abroad (D-2) and elementary, middle, and high school students (D-4-3)-Subx-scription time-The date of foreigner registration after initial entry to Korea / The date of reentry on reentering Korea after the foreigner registration Status of sojourn-General training (D-4) other than elementary, middle, and high school students (D-4-3)-Subx-scription time-Enrolled 6 months after entering Korea ※ Foreign students who are studying in Korea and have not subscribed to health insurance as of March 1, 2021 are eligible to subscribe to the National Health Insurance. Calculation and payment of the health insurance premium Insurance premiums for foreign students are calculated according to the same criteria as Korean regional subscribers by considering each individual as a single household. If the status of sojourn of the student is Studying abroad (D-2) or General training (D-4), a certain percentage of the insurance premium may be reduced.
